Launched in 2025, MO Museum’s cultural education project, sponsored by TMV FOUNDATION, comes back to Marijampolė. Last year, nearly 500 students from six different schools engaged in art-based educational activities in the city. This year, the project returns with 20 free educational workshops, giving local students the opportunity to take part and engage.
The workshops use art as a tool to develop creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, communication and collaboration skills. The first activities took place on October 2 at the Marijampolė Cultural Center, where students, together with an MO Museum educator, interpreted works of art, shared their insights, learned to support their ideas with arguments and listen to different perspectives. The educational workshops will continue until December.
The partnership between TMV FOUNDATION and MO Museum in Marijampolė has continued for several years, and the cultural education project provides another opportunity to bring art closer to the city’s students. It reflects one of the core missions of TMV FOUNDATION, established by TMV CAPITAL: to support organisations that create value in youth and public education.
